Top Trends from Top Brands for Spring / Summer 2014
Though 2013 haven’t passed yet, and we are ready for a new round of trends for the upcoming spring summer 2014. Here are some main highlights and a check on different brands and designers.
Dolce & Gabbana: Check the beauty of the roman coins used in dresses of the Dolce & Gabbana collection. They have used floral prints in their new collection, which is another highlight.
Anthony Vaccarello: The unique hemlines and amazing focus on the off shoulder design remained one of the prime highlights of the Anthony Vaccarello collection. The colours also included black, which is certainly not the conventional spring shade!
Lanvin: All about use of purple much in the party and disco style is what Lanvin is all about. You will love the shades and textures of the designs and patterns. All the classic rules of spring and summer are missing for the love for glitter and gimmick, making the collection among the offbeat ones for the season.
Balenciaga: Their collection was again about off shoulder dresses and looks, which is quite an indicator of the common trend to be seen. Thin fabrics on the body and skirts made the looks even worth a check for all the good reasons.
Salvatore Ferragamo: Another classic collection from Salvatore Ferragamo that features small cropped tops with colours as light as cream and beige, much in line with spring. Their collection is urbane and utterly refined in sync with the youth today.
Moschino: Think of the weird fashion ideas, and you have Moschino coming with a teddy bear hat or a paper bag dress. Away from the most brands in business, this one is more about getting off the road and trying to be unique in every sense of fashion.
Alberta Ferretti: The floral-embroidered dresses from Alberta Ferretti are one of the most beautiful and wearable choices you will find for the season. The colours are mainly white with floral prints used in a stunning balance of colours.
Roberto Cavalli: Another brand that works exclusively for refined tastes and themes. From the slouchy pants to the beaded dresses with inclusions of accessories like fur stoles, this one has everything meant for spring. Check for the hints of rock and roll that is evident in most of the looks. One of the unique elements included sequin designed pants.
Versace: Known for being a fashion brand you can look up to, Versace came with many choices for the coming season. Leather pant, printed t-shirts, soft colours and unique soft fabrics ruled the ramp and are as different from one another as chalk and cheese.
Prada: With fur coats for the spring and summer of 2014 that come with dramatic prints, Prada ensured that the paparazzi take all the attention. We love the use of colours and different elements mixed together.
