Keeping the fact aside that we have done a whole list of spring trends and covered them here, we would like to rewind the trends and talk of some new things. After all, we understand that you may have missed a post or two. Here is a close take at spring 2015 trends and ideas that should make way to every closet, no matter whether you have shopped or are yet to shop!
Go for the shoulder look: The one shoulder look was on for a few seasons, but spring 2015 had some very happening designs that were worth vouching for. The new age of bold shoulder designs had some great ideas, starting from barring the shoulder like the midriff, off-shoulder and even different designs. The one shoulder look is essentially happening, but the power designs are much more versatile and leave a lot of scope to get the look desired. Some designers and brands that you may want to check for bold shoulders for spring 2015 include Christopher Kane, Prabal Gurung, Balenciaga, and Chloé.
Smart with easy belts: Easy designs in belts that seem more like the distant cousin of the judo belts were seen all over the ramps in the spring collections of this year. Models were seen adorning the look with ease, and we love the way the belt was used with outer layer, often with trench and regular coats. There are also many formal designs that were seen on many runways, but some designers and brands that certainly took the step ahead include 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang, Marni, Dior and Celine. You can make your own version by adding the belt to any layering item, even when the winter is still on.
Be the easy girl: The new age outfits are no more about wearing tight clothes and high heels that neither let you move or breathe. A lot of designers were inspired to design some real classy things, including some utility items that seemed like being in comfort while being effortlessly stylish. Comfortable silhouettes, effective fabrics, use of khaki were some of the biggest things on the ramp. Some collections that you can refer to for getting the right appeal include Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Victoria Beckham and Gucci.
Welcome to round handbags: The coming of round and circle designs in handbags was probably the best statement in accessories for spring 2015. Round handbags have been essentially stylish and different in terms of colour, and you can find utility at the same time. Use the handbag as a clutch or coin purse, or you can go big with the size, the choice is yours. Some of the big designers that you may check include Marc by Marc Jacobs and Karen Walker among others.
Get started with these right now, and we have more for you in the next part of the series.
