The Major Spring 2016 Trends From the Biggest Fashion Shows- Part 1
The official fashion weeks have ended for spring 2016, and we did talk of the London Fashion Week in detail some time back. Before we actually go back to reviewing the other fashion weeks and the trends that emerged out of them, let’s first check some of the best trends from the season on the whole. There are some great things that may inspire you to find time for more shopping. To make things simple, we will not just cover the regular trends, but also offer a few good ideas for you to look greater with these ideas.
Power shoulders: Many designers opted to power the shoulder cuts and designs for spring 2016, and the looks are unique and extremely glamorous to say the least. Some of the top names that you may check for this trend include Giambattista Valli, Prabal Gurung and Louis Vuitton. Keep an eye on the detailing, because the idea has been defined in the most exclusive ways in each of the collections. If designer is not your key, there are some amazing things that you can even check on online stores, given that the idea isn’t completely new but more innovative.
Redefining the white shirt: The white shirt has been revamped for the summer! After all, we all need classics from to time. Many designers added plenty of detailing, textures and new cuts to make the shirt interesting enough for the season. From the button down designs to ruffles, there are some great ideas, and you can borrow a few from Anthony Vaccarello, Amanda Wakeley, Jenny Packham and Fendi. Let’s just say that if you don’t have this staple in the closet, you might just want to get two new shirts this season- one with these trendy twists, and another as the classic white.
From the bedroom: It is also quite fun to find many designers have opted for the amazing bedroom lingerie outfits with a twist. We have all known the summer slip dress, and the difference this time is that we have some good designs that bring many things together. Apart from being casually sensuous, the designs are also very feminine, and if you are hunting to see a few of these designs, you can check Alexander Wang, Emilio Pucci, Elie Saab, and Givenchy. Make sure to experiment with the colours and you will find something engaging for all the days and nights of the week!
Adding the pleat: Some of the top designers chose to play with the pleat in a very flirty way and the results are surely meant to please one and all. While Chanel added the pleats to make the floral print to look more fun, there were also a few designs at Carolina Herrera and Emilio Pucci that were more feminine. If you are thinking of girly things this time, check your local mall or online shops, and you will find those amazing pleated skirts that can work with anything.
