The First Trend of Pre-Fall 2015- Trench Coats
We are not done with the Spring Summer 2015 collections as yet, and the pre-fall collections of many designers have arrived. If you are looking for some trends, we are yet to scan the collections for all the common fashion ideas, but one thing that has made a serious statement is the trench coat. Trench coats are essentially items of the winter, and the designers would like us to have real fun with coats ahead of the fall, which is quite some change again. Here is a close take on how the designer trench coats for pre-fall 2015 are like.
A hint of kimono: The Japanese outfit has inspired us more than expected in the last couple of seasons, and for the next year too, we will see some trench designs that are somehow much linked to the kimono. One of such coats was seen at Fendi, where colour and balance worked and created a great look with bell like hands. Certainly, a trench for the season by all means!
All in leather: Somehow leather has managed to stun everyone, and some designers simply cannot get enough of the material. Alexander Wang introduced the trench coat for pre-fall 2015 in pure black leather, which certainly creates a big effect on the onlookers. If you are not very fond of leather and have your issues, make sure to check in PU and faux leather options, which will surely follow.
A very similar look was also seen at Jason Wu, except for the fact that the styling was quite different. The trench coat was over a high neck sweater, creating a very chilly look.
A trim of fur: Fur trims are common in winter and pre-fall collections, and we had seen some similar designs for 2014. However, for the next season, the fur trim comes in the trim coat, at least that’s Altuzarra has on offer. The trench coat seen at the collection had a fur collar and came in a nice shade of navy blue, which might be another colour trend for the season to look at.
More of suede: We had mentioned how suede was the major material for spring summer 2015. The same seems to continue for the pre-fall, as well. Seen at Burberry Prorsum, the suede coat in brown was a pure eye candy. You can wear such coats almost everywhere, and for those who shun suede for obvious reasons, there are some great choices in faux and similar materials, which are expected to be available.
Among the other trench coats design that we spotted, the one at Michael Kors was an absolute stunner. From the colour to the material, everything made for a killer combination for the pre-fall, which can be continued for the fall and winter, as well.
Please keep an eye here for more pre-fall 2015 trends for the days ahead. We are looking forward for complete coverage of the new season of fashion, as well as, towards bringing more ideas for the upcoming spring and summer.
