The Best Spring 2016 Bridal Trends Unveiled – Part 1
When it comes to bridal fashion, our team gets rather excited. It’s kind of special to bring the best of trends for the would-be brides, and we always like to do that for all fashion seasons. The spring 2016 bridal collections are out, and there are some incredible ideas that you can steal for your special day as you walk the aisle. Some of them are outright experimental, some are happening and others might just seem revamped. Since we knew we cannot have enough of these trends, we are doing a series of these posts, just for you.
Feathery love: Well, this is one trend that can be your idea for the wedding day. Featured gowns and skirts were like a big rage for spring 2016 bridal shows, and although this one needs some daring, you will be rather flattered to see the options. Some of the top names include Carolina Herrera, Isabelle Armstrong and Jenny Packham. From one shoulder gowns to off shoulder designs, there were quite a few wedding gowns that can steal the limelight. At Jenny Packham, the nude coloured gown worked big time, so if you are looking for something more than just white, this might be your colour for the season.
Daring illusions: The issue of illusions for bridal outfits cannot be termed as an entirely new thing for sure, but the elements have certainly changed to be bolder for 2016. If you are someone who loves to bare and want to experiment to an extra length for the day, there are quite a few ideas that you can probably try. There were plenty of A-line dresses, so in all likeliness, you will get hooked. Christos Costarellos, Tara Keely and Naeem Khan are just some of the names, while at Monique Lhuillier, the designs were much more bold. You can also find some interesting designs in the collection of Hayley Paige.
In love with overskirts: Overskirts are ideal for the bride, who wants to add a little feminine touch, and given that the art of layering is working big time for all seasons now, this is something that you will not mind trying at all. From an added overskirt to strapless gown at Oscar de la Renta to laced designs at Christos Costarellos, there’s something for all brides. Also, this isn’t something that’s very common, so in a way, you can actually create your own look, by simply adding a sheer wrap for the regular gown. All in all- A very special trend indeed! Some of the other names that you may just want to check include Oleg Cassini, Galia Lahav and Mira Zwillinger.
Looking for more happening but tweaked wedding outfit ideas? In the next part of the season, we will talk of some more trends and some best designs, straight from the runways. Do note that we are taking it slow for the bridal trends, as we know there are some more amazing things that we can discover together. Until the next post, please keep watching this space for more!
