The “Best of Spring’ Series – The Makeup Trends Worth Checking In 2017 – Part 3
So, we move ahead with the “Best of Spring’ series. In the first two parts, we have talked about the best of shoes for the season, and before that, we did talk about spring runway clothing trends. For the third part of this series, we are here to talk of the makeup trends. It is always fun to try out looks with makeup. You can get to try new options and styles and the whole idea of experimenting with new makeup products. Without much talking, let’s get straight into the post.
Amazing ombré lip shades: With fall, we had seen a lot of red and deeper plum colours, so it was quite expected that the trend will change with the next season. Instead of pinks, spring 2017 is likely to be about oranges and ombré shades. These are colours that look very summery and can be chosen in variety of shades. You can try creating gradation looks, by mixing two or more colours. Just keep the centres of the lips very bright, and you are good to go. As for the shades, try going for a good mix of shades, and for those who like to challenge their fashion goals better, a bright toned neon orange shade can be bold choice. Red lipsticks with a slight or more orange undertone can be good choice too.
Go metallic: A lot of designers also worked with the metallic eye makeup, adding nice range of colours to the eyelids. Try to play with gold if you are keen to do the basic metallic look, or else, you can try eye shadows in softer tones, such as rose gold or copper. Metallic looks work best when done as the centre of the entire makeup. So, if you are going all loud with the eyes, keep the lips in a nude shade and focus a little more on the contours of the face. A nice highlighter can add the extra glow you need, without the extensive charm of a blusher.
Glitter is back: In many of our posts on makeup, we have talked about how matte shades and lip looks have been ruling the ramp. For spring 2017, it is going to be all about glitter and shimmer. Over-the-top shimmery/glittery lips in dark colours remained among the top trends of the season, and there is a lot to like in shade palette. For many girls, investing in a lot of makeup is never a good choice, given that they hardly wear all of those things on a regular basis. However, with lip colours and lipsticks, you are always safe. A bright glittering lip colour can lift your face drastically, even when you haven’t used the concealer or foundation. Make sure that you try the darker berry tones. If you don’t want to buy new colours, just use your regular dark lipsticks, and top the shade with a clear and transparent lip gloss.
