The Best Highlights from Versace Spring/Summer 2015 Show
Our generic trends for Spring/Summer 2015 have already been a huge success among readers, where we did explore the best of all brands with things that made a statement right away. Many have requested on doing a few of the individual reviews of different designers, and we are starting off our first post with the Versace Spring 2015 Collection at the Milan Fashion Week. Here are the best looks with some trendy elements that we found were quite interesting and may make way in the closets of our readers.
The fun high slit skirts: Skirts are always fun and we see mostly the pencil and knee length designs. At Versace Spring 2015, we loved the way the skinny skirt went for a makeover. Cool and essentially powerful, these skirts were long and had that amazing slit on the side that added the right quotient of glamour. You might want to wear one that is low on the slit, but to be honest- the high slit seemed too irresistible and happening to be ignored.
The peek-a-boo leather styling: We don’t advocate leather or suede, but strangely both the materials seem to be in vogue. If real leather is not for you, try the faux options that are available in plenty. Coming back to the trend, we found two designs in extreme colours- black and white- in leather, which had the peek-a-boo style with a fresh take. The look didn’t take away from the style element, which was more about the getting the layers right. So, we had those crop tops back in form with miniskirts matched with the jacket with the moto factor. The look didn’t have too many things, but the handbag in the white one was much desired.
Functional yet cool bags with outer pockets: If you have been looking for handbag trends from the Spring 2015 runways, it is likely you will love the bag that we spotted at Versace. Extremely functional with outer pockets, this is a handbag that you would want to keep for office and casual days. The colour of blue was cool for the summer while for the other elements of gold detailing and outer pockets made it much the Versace way. They used the product as a clutch, but guess you can even take that as a sling with the summer dresses and can carry it with ease for work.
The stunning razzle dazzle outfits: Easily the editor’s pick when it came to style was the razzle dazzle designs in a variety of colours. Probably, you would want to keep some of the colours for special parties, but these are basically the summer shots of glamour. Make sure that you keep the look minimal. The show didn’t have too many accessories, but we did spot chokers, which mean these neckpieces can be your choice for the spring with other ensemble outfits too. Simple and truly happening for the party animals!
