The Best Dressed at MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet 2014

With the Golden Globes and Oscar seasons coming to end, we are virtually at the finishing line of award seasons this year. The last but important events of the year are MTV Movie Awards 2014, where there were some stunning performances by Rihanna and Eminem. Here a quick take on the ladies who went on to make clear hits last weekend on the red carpet with their stunning looks and superb choices.

Shailene WoodleyShailene Woodley in Balmain: Our favourite pick for the red carpet is Shailene Woodley, who dared something different with a pre-fall Balmain ensemble. That brownish green leather skirt and matching cropped style top worked wonders for the lady, and she completed the looks with black statement Jimmy Choo heels. Must mention David Yurman jewellery that Woodley made look just endearing with the right combination!

Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne in Versace: The pretty lady looked her best in the Versace dress, but what we love the most is the pastel blue colour, which seems to be straight inspired by the spring summer palette. She completed the look with matching strappy sandals along with a Jimmy Choo clutch. With straight open hair and jewellery from Anita Ko, Thorne nailed a look that otherwise could have been tacky.

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong’o in Chanel: The pretty Academy winning actress always seems to know the right ways of hitting the red carpet. For the MTV Movie Awards 2014, she chose a much tribal inspired dress from Chanel coupled with Casadei pumps. One of the worthy things to notice is the Vita Fede jewellery, which seemed to totally flatter her. We loved the way she kept it all simple.

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba in Piece d’Anarchive and Kenzo: This year, many of the ladies had a gala time with Jimmy Choo it seems. The beautiful star wore a Piece d’Anarchive top in the bandeau style in white and paired it seamlessly with a skirt by Kenzo in the flared style. The perfect Choo pumps and Narciso Rodriguez clutch completed her look. The clutch was a special edition one from Bottletop Collaboration by Narciso Rodriguez, named Jessica.

Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann in Juan Carlos Obando: The Juan Carlos Obando dress from the spring 2014 collection looked just fabulous on Leslie Mann. She got back the polka dots and completed the look with heels from Saint Laurent. The dress seemed to be close to one that Amy Adams wore sometime back by the same designer, but thanks to Jennifer Meyer jewellery, the lady managed to carry it off in style!

Rihanna

Rihanna in Ulyana Sergeenko: If you love lounge wear and like to keep things simple, check the Ulyana Sergeenko’s couture lounge wear that Rihanna sported for the event. We didn’t really like the attire, but the way the lady carried off that high slit design is worth 100 claps. Not much has been revealed about the jewellery she wore, but that neck pendant is certainly worth dying for with that stunning bracelet.

Who is your favourite pick among the best red carpet celebs?
