The spring 2017 bridal fashion week is over, and we are right at the time when we can talk of the top trends. Honestly, no matter one’s marital status, bridal trends are always worth waiting for. There are new elements to check, and given that the scope for wedding gowns are often limited, it is rather a nice idea to see what the top designers have to offer for the contemporary bride. Here are the top trends for spring 2017 bridal season, and along with that, we will keep adding our inputs, so that you can make the most of these ideas.
Bow down: Well, bows have something amazingly feminine about them, and it is rather fun to see how top names, such as Carolina Herrera, Sachin & Babi and Isabelle Armstrong have come up with dramatic looks. If you are someone who would love your special day to be a little more over the top and yet within the lines of the event, this is a trend that you shouldn’t definitely miss. In all likeliness, you can find a few of the similar ideas in other designers, as well, so make sure to first check a few options from runways. Bows are great even in minimalism, and most top collections had variety of things for every bride.
Love for pantone shades: A lot of soft pantone colours ruled the bridal collections this season, and probably it is still a cue that you can move beyond white now, without actually making a serious mistake. The love for these shades comes from the fact that these aren’t really very dramatic, but allows you shift from the conventional white in a smart way. If you are running out of ideas, some of the designers you can check include Romona Keveza, Mira Zwillinger, and Angel Sanchez. These are basically soft colours that stand on their own, despite the different design styles and material changes in every other collection. In short, you are the summer bride, and there is no reason to feel different!
Welcome the pants: Now this has to be our favourite pick for the hot summer bride! Pants for your wedding may seem like a bit too much, but if you see how the top designers have used the idea to give a miss to the gown, you will be surprised in more ways than one. Well, the summer bride who wears pants isn’t masculine; instead there are many elements to her style, which gives a really stunning outlook to her appeal. There were many designers who worked with the pants this season, and it is likely that we will see more of pants in 2017. Some of the names that you can check for this idea include Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier and Lela Rose.
We hope you found these ideas amusing enough. In the next part, we will talk of some more spring 2017 bridal trend, so keep an eye on this space for more. Till then, stay happy and stylish!
