Well, the Oscars or 2014 Academy Awards have just passed, and it’s time to have a round of applause for the ladies who scorched the red carpet in their perfect outfits. While some of them managed to pull off the attire, others did miss the top list by a beat. In this particular post, we will talk of the best dresses actresses and celebs on the red carpet and what made them so wanted for pictures and more. Take your own pick from the list.
Lupita Nyong’o in Prada: She is one lady everyone had her eyes on. Dresses in a unique shade of blue in a Prada Gown, Nyong’o won many hearts when she said that the gown reminded her of Nairobi. While she did take the trophy back for Best Supporting Actress category for “12 Years a Slave”, we couldn’t help but stare at her both on and off the stage. She also chose to wear Fred Leighton jewels and a stunning headband, but overall kept the look simple.
Cate Blanchett in Armani Prive: This stunning actress probably knew that she would take home the Oscar for her performance in “The Blue Jasmine”. As she walked the red carpet in a “The Blue Jasmine” with open hair and accessorized in Chopard jewels, she just look radiant. She knows the art of carrying well, which is why the gown that featured Swarovski crystals and sequins looked more than perfect on her. Check for those love dangler earrings she chose because that couldn’t have been better!
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture: Lawrence has been a lady that every designer would want to dress, never mind how she slipped last year while getting to the stage to win her award for Silver Linings Playbook. For the 2014 Academy Awards, she chose to wear a red hot gown from Dior Haute Couture, much with an element of peplum. She completed the stunning attire with a Ferragamo clutch coupled with a pair of heels from Brian Atwood Tribeca. It’s touted that her necklace was worth $2-million!
Amy Adams in Gucci Premiere: When she was nominated for American Hustle, it was nothing new for this multiple nomination winner as Oscars over the years. This time Amy Adams let her Gucci Premiere gown do all the talking. The beautiful sapphire gown looked just lovely on her. She completed the look with Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection earrings and well done hair. While there isn’t something too high about this appearance, but remained among the best this year.
Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace: This year, it seems Brian Atwood is favourite pick for most stars to walk the red carpet. Coupled with a Brian Atwood shoes, the Atelier Versace gown looked ravishing on ever-charming Kate Hudson. She looked her best as she completed her hair in the retro style with the right waves. Atelier Versace certainly knows what suits this star, and the lady stunned everyone with the completely perfect makeup.
