Quick Check Book For Probable Spring 2017 Accessory Trends
Spring 2017 trends are yet to be analysed in detail, but we happened to glance at some of the accessories of the runways. Finally, we are happy to report that spring next year is going to be about extremes and maximum elements. We are going to talk about some of the individual ideas we saw at some of the leading shows of New York Fashion Week, just to give you a hint of the things that might soon crop up.
Backpacks at Marc Jacobs: Well, when we talk of backpacks, we think of the casual girl who loves to take things easy. At Marc Jacobs, we spotted some really fun backpacks that were a mix of colours and prints, and probably, this is among the safe buys this season. You can team your backpack with casual denims, or simply take it for a cool vacation- the choice is yours. You have to play around with a lot of colours, if possible, and if you dare, prints are going to be equal fun, especially as seen at Marc Jacobs.
Mules at Dolce & Gabbana: If you remember the fall 2016 trends, you probably already know how mules were one of the major trends for the season. In fact, it was among the most comfortable styles available. If you intend to stay in the same comfort zone for spring 2017, you will be happy to hear of the return at Dolce & Gabbana. However, unlike the fall, the mules of 2017 are going to be a bit more embellished and probably a bit over the top. So, you have to play beyond the rules and try some of the nice comforting colours, just like red seen at Dolce & Gabbana. Mules can also be a great choice for anyone looking for alternatives to heels.
Massive earrings at Proenza Schouler: Big, chunky earrings are a great pick for the summer and spring, and to be honest, this isn’t a completely new trend for sure. However, how the idea was played at shows like that of Proenza Schouler is quite an eye opener. You can be great in styles and ideas, and if you want, you can play around with forms and structures. With big chunky earrings, you have to minimize the rest of the look in terms of accessories, and it can all look very fun and quite experimental. We would want to see what happens to this trend in days to come.
Handcuffs at Rodarte: If you are someone who loves to try new ideas, Rodarte had some amazing handcuffs in the show. The whole concept is to take handcuffs to the next level, but adding more than one kind of motif or element. If you aren’t sure of the things that you can try, just check for contemporary options in brass, other metals and leather. The models didn’t settle for one or two, instead they had a whole line of handcuffs adorning their arms.
