Once more – The Best Dressed At Met Gala 2015- Part 2
In the second part, we are again back with some of the best dressed celebs of the Met Gala 2015. For more than a few reasons, this is called the Oscars of Fashion.
Diane Kruger in Chanel Haute Couture: If you want to get some style ideas other than the gown, you should see what Diane Kruger wore for the event. The Chanel Haute Couture ensemble with all the embroidery detailing was just looking fun, and the off-shoulder thing is just so cool. Kruger did all the hard work on this look by completing the look with a Judith Leiber clutch and Fred Leighton bracelet. That’s a ten on ten look for sure!
Sienna Miller in Thakoon: Tuxedo on the red carpet- How’s that? Sienna Miller did just that for the amazing Met Gala and ensures that we never look away from her. The sequined tuxedo had quite a few things in place. Firstly, that red hot colour, which certainly is the best shade on the red carpet, and secondly, the fringe detailing. The fringe detailing has got extremely popular off late and a lot of the designers are using the trend. She added a rope tassel belt to the look, and if you can remember the kimono inspired belt from spring summer 2015, this is what can be a perfect new idea to take that trend ahead. She completed the look with Jacob & Co. custom earrings.
Emma Roberts in Ralph Lauren: Silk and satin gowns do wrong at unexpected times, but that’s not the case with Emma Roberts. In a stunning green coloured silk ensemble by Ralph Lauren, she looked ravishing. She wore jewellery by Monique Pean and added an Edie Parker clutch to the look. Flaunting her perfect figure, the beautiful gown showed more reasons on why green is the colour of being envious!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Atelier Versace: Atelier Versace had a complete collection on cut-out styles, and back then, we had mentioned on how this trend may come to the runways. The style was sported by none other than Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and she gave one of the best looks of the event. Red hot lips and well conceived idea of using rings and nothing much for jewellery ensure that the gown got the maximum attention. A lovely idea for those who want to flaunt!
Reese Witherspoon in Jason Wu: Let’s start by saying that this is not one of the looks that can be called experimental, but Reese Witherspoon managed to look ravishing in the Jason Wu red gown that was matched with TIffany & Co. jewellery and heels from Charlotte Olympia. Straight hair and great makeup made Witherspoon look worth millions, and she made sure that we all raved over her. While this look doesn’t get a big mark for innovation, but this is also among the few safe looks that worked without being edgy and that’s an art, as well.
In the next part, we see the worst dressed celebs of Met Gala 2015!
