More Trend Picks from Pre-Fall 2016 Collections- Part 2
In our last post, we did a special part on Pre-Fall 2016 Collections. Pre-Fall fashion is often edgy and has a lot of new things that are indicative of the trends that we will see for the fall and winters. Taking the series ahead, here are some trends and ideas for the season, with our special in-house tips that will help you get more for less! Let’s start with a bang!
Slip-in: Slip dresses don’t seem to go anywhere. After being totally revamped with lace and feminine elements for spring 2016, the trend is continuing for the pre-fall too, with many top designers opting to give it some more dimensions, by adding jackets and other accessories. The idea is probably to be in line with the season, and therefore, the slip dress looks much more cool and happening. Some of the designers you can check for this trend include Givenchy, Valentino, Victoria Beckham, and Alexander Wang. The good thing is you don’t have to go high end to embrace this trend, because it works pretty well even with regular slip-in dresses you see in the shops.
Blue is right here: Just in the last post, we mentioned how the pastel blue can be a favourite in the entire palette, but the fact remains that the colour will work wonderfully even in the navy shade. In fact, this is easily the best and most frequented colour of the season by all means. If you are someone who loves to wear blue, you can find a lot of new shades, mainly on the darker side worth trying. Some of the designers worth checking for this one include Emilio Pucci, Givenchy, Burberry and Valentino.
For the love of prints: Prints are back for pre-fall 2016, and there are some incredible ideas that you can check, including floral prints, graphic designs, random styles and even use of multiple colours. The printed dresses that were seen in this season were incredibly stylish and had some really unique vibes, which make them worthy of all seasons. For the fall, you can just add the trench coat, while you can also take these printed outfits for the spring this year and beyond. Some of the best designs were spotted at Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Altuzarra and Erdem.
The return of lace: No matter whether you love lace or not, there is no way that you can actually turn away from this trend. Lace is feminine, and it works both as an accessory material and on its own. To be factual, this is one thing that just keeps coming back every time. Many designers worked with soft lace and lace-like materials for pre-fall 2016, and the designs were incredibly good. Some of the names you may want to check for this one include Tory Burch, Sportmax, and Prabal Gurung.
We hope you enjoyed this series as much as we loved putting it together for you. For more fashion updates, feel free to come back right here! Have a great fashion season ahead!
