More on the Fashion from Brands for Spring Summer 2014
In one of our early posts on the spring summer collections for 2014, we have talked about the fashion that brands are bringing to the forefront. Taking the same series forward, we will talk of some of the recent trends that were spotted at some of the most coveted runway shows at best fashion labels. Check what you need to know from the best of fashion for spring summer 2014.
Alexander McQueen: One of the main trends of the season came from Alexander McQueen. With features being in use for many looks, one wonders if that’s what we are going to see in days to come. The collection also included some red carpet looks, with primary colours such as red, black and white used in many. If you are a staple lover, this is your collection!
Chanel: Among the best collections for the season was that of Chanel. Unique and very particular to the brand, the collection had some chokers as accessories with large beads and pearls used. The use of tweed is also very common to label, and same was seen at the collection by Karl Lagerfeld. With colours like pink in offering, what more do you expect?
Elie Saab: Floor length gowns, amazing designs and classic use of flowing fabrics- all of these pretty much sums up the collection of Elie Saab for spring summer 2014. If feminine and girly looks is what that makes the most appeal to you, this collection comes up as a surprise for the spring. From the regular shades to maroons, there are choices for every diva out there.
Stella McCartney: Among the best collections for any season, Stella McCartney comes with her own range of surprises. This year, it was none other than Miranda Kerr who came to walk for the label. As for the designs, you have some amazingly pretty feminine looks, with most of the outfits coming with lace work. Lace it seems has become the flavour of the season and material of the coming year in more ways than one.
Givenchy: If you had the chance to see the collection at Givenchy, you must have spotted the use of very scary masks, but what held the attention are the eveningwear choices. There are sequined designs of Riccardo Tisci, and every look seems to be interestingly put through with right accessories at right places. When over the top look is what you seek, this collection can be worth a check.
Chloe: The ultra-cool summer and spring looks are back in vogue. This season, Chloe brings us a complete collection that includes chiffon dresses with knotted sleeves. For that one particular dress, even the word ‘effortless’ seems to be less said. The blue shade and the pretty casual styling are worth dying for.
We have tried to cover as many collections and labels as possible, but if you have more to know, stay tuned as we bring in more spring summer fashion tips. Getting stylish with the runway trends was never this easy!
