More Fall 2017 Shoe Trends – Part 2
In our last post, we talked about the three trending fall 2017 ideas. We discussed about the ‘bling’ element in shoes and how these trends ruled the runways. Taking the fashion game ahead, let’s talk more of fall 2017 shoes. This is all about trends and styles that you can follow, and as always, we have enlisted a few tips here and there for your help.
Over the knee: Fall and boots always go together! Every season, we see a fresh take on the classic boots, and for 2017, it’s all about high boots. This year, boots reach your thighs and even higher, and the trend is echoed by a number of top brands including Balmain, Céline, Fendi, Monse, and Nina Ricci. Make sure that you try a lot of colours, because designers didn’t limit the options to black and brown. Some of the designs were over the top, and it’s fun to try something new in boots, given that many girls do consider the classic styles to be boring.
Smoking red: Well, the colour palette for the fall has to be red. From boots to more inspired designs, red made a splash on the ramp in the most amazing shades. Regardless of your personal style statement, you need to invest in a pair of red boots this season, which can be teamed in a contrast way with trench coats, skirts and dress. Looking for ideas? You need to check the collections of Adam Lippes, Altuzarra, Bottega Veneta and Dolce & Gabbana. These shoes aren’t moderate. In fact, some of the pairs were outright silly but really cute. You will find a lot of similar options on online stores, so don’t shy away from taking chances.
For the future: Fall 2015 had some amazing futuristic heels, which were worth displaying on the counter. In 2017, we have more unique heels that deserve a mention for being truly unique. These are heels that you can wear anywhere, without even thinking of an accessory. Keep in mind that these shoes are meant to be exclusive and we recommend that you start saving for a designer pair. Every season, there’s at least one trend that demands investment, and for this year, we cannot think beyond these heels. Some of the designers you need to check include Salvatore Ferragamo, Mary Katrantzou, Maison Margiela and Rosie Assoulin.
Bonus trend: Many designers like Balenciaga, Adam Lippes, and Oscar de la Renta worked extensively with silk and lace. Besides working with different colors and themes, these designers ensured the classic materials get a more feminine touch for the season. You can try classic colors like blue and red, or else, it can be simple in black. Nevertheless, if you don’t want to spend a lot, it might be a good idea to check online, where you can find similar styles in budget.
We hope you found this post useful. In the next one, we will cover more trends and styles, and we insist that you come back for more.
