Looking Back at the 2014 Trends That are Worth Checking! – Part 2
We were checking the best trends for 2014, and we already listed five different trends that made a gala appearance and wooed us all. Here’s a check to cheer the last year fashion rules, with more things that you can certainly look up to in the future.
Hard cases are here: We all love hard cases that are extremely fun and worthy with any attire for a tough girl appeal. The hard cases reflected in designer handbags that were all over the place, including some known names like Louis Vuitton and Dior. Of course, you will have to invest in some known designers to ensure that you get the style right, but we are sure many fashion retailers are already looking to duplicate the designs, so more affordable solutions are likely to be available.
Go shorter with hemlines: Miniskirts and short dresses have been ruling the ramps and runways of 2014, and we cannot afford to lose this trend. While new trends emerged for 2015, we are sure that this is not going anywhere. If you have the legs that are worth flaunting, you will not miss showing some skin. The good thing about the new age miniskirts is the coming of prints, so for those who are not exactly fond of monochromatic looks, print is the new cool in many ways.
Say yes to statement boots: 2014 showed us statement boots, which are like flaunting legs with attitude. You can see some of the designs at Saint Laurent collections or even at Miu Miu. If you are wearing miniskirts for the winter or fall, you can add these boots and get that effortless appeal without even trying. Statement boots will be around for some years to go, so buying a pair can be quite a good investment. Check a few of the online stores, where you are likely to get some discounted items, especially when more women are focused on spring 2015 trends.
Complete knits for warmth: That’s one trend we love to wear for every fall. Complete knits are essentially cool and worthy as a fall and winter item, although you can still wear the lighter versions for the summers, as well. The good part of this trend is the easiness in styling, so you don’t need much to get ready, except for the sling bag and a nice pair of ankle boots. For the workplace, the trend is even better, so you can wear the knit dress and match it with a longer coat for a quick appeal. Add your favourite pumps for some added style quotient.
We would also want to mention on the coming of trench and long coats in 2014, which has been taken forward by designers for the pre-fall season of 2015. Thanks to the amazing ideas in the last year, we know the new and upcoming fashion seasons are going to be equally fun. Get started with these trends, which may seem to be gone but are likely to make an appearance in seasons to come.
