More Fall 2016 Bridal Trends – Part 2
In our very last post, we talked about the stunning bridal trends for fall 2016. Without wasting any more time, here’s a take on some more trends, straight from the top fashion shows.
Floral appliqués: To be precise, appliqués for bridal collections isn’t something new as the trend was seen even in spring 2016 collections too. This time, the floral appliqués are amazingly different and very over the top, and it looks really pleasing by all means. If you are the to-be bride who likes a bit of floral ideas on your special day, this trend should be the one for you. Some of the designs seen at Monique Lhuillier, Angel Sanchez and Hayley Paige are really special for sure. Floral appliqués should be amazing idea, even for your regular collections for fall, given that this isn’t something that has emerged on the runways of the major fashion weeks.
A touch of lingerie: Designers like Hayley Paige, Alon Livne White and Elizabeth Fillmore inspired us in many ways. These were dresses that were amazingly different and unique, thanks to the touch of lingerie-ideas. Starting from the use of sheer materials to lacy designs, these are dresses and evening gowns for the daring bride. For those who want to take risks, this is a trend that wouldn’t disappoint by any means. Just the thing that needs attention is the balance, which should ideally be about creating a look that’s pleasing and yet has the edginess. A little lace, as used in a creation by Oscar de la Renta, can take your special gown to the next level.
Tiered for style: Tiered gowns with multiple layers were a major hit for spring 2016, as well, and it isn’t surprising that many designers have opted for the trend even in this season. The idea is to add more variance and elements to the regular gown, giving it a more feminine and more layered look. This is a trend that’s easy to adopt, and you can find quite a few choices even in local boutiques. For a few ideas, check Alvina Valenta, Ines Di Santo and Jim Hjelm. This is a trend that can work with ruffles too, so make sure to experiment with layered ideas.
Spaghetti straps: This has to be the most amazing trend on the block. Spaghetti straps are a big hit, and there are all kinds of styles and ideas that one can think of. The trend might feel more summery, but this one works wonders for the brides, who want a more casual look on their special day. Some of the best designers to watch out for this trend include Alon Livne White, Carol Hannah and Gala by Galia Lahav. We also loved the very lovely gown spotted at Lazaro. Surely for the lady who likes to walk the aisle in style!
We hope you liked these trends and found your bridal look for the fall season. Keep an eye on this space as we cover fashion in detail!
