Celebrity Fashion Highlights Of Golden Globes 2013
Golden Globes is not just about celebrating movies and music, but there is much more to this much awaited award function that brings it time and again in the limelight. Here are top looks of our celebrities who walked the red carpet with élan and showed us why they are loved in the fashion world.
Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen: Kate Hudson presented the awards this year, and when she appeared on the red carpet, we could hardly take our eyes of. She chose a complete black stunning gown from Alexander McQueen that she paired elegantly with stud styled earrings and Roger Vivier clutch. The golden embellishment of the dress clearly indicated why she minimised her look.
Anne Hathaway in Chanel: She has been nominated for Les Miserables and she managed to bag her win, but what was more surprising was the way she dressed. With a complete ensemble from Chanel in white, she literally looked worth a million bucks. Vegan Aldo shoes completed her look. It is worth praising that she kept the accessories to the minimum.
Megan Fox in Dolce & Gabbana: Megan Fox came in wearing a Dolce & Gabbana gown that was designed in a neutral shade. The mermaid gown was glamorised with shoes from Jimmy Choo and exclusive jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz. We love the Salvatore Ferragamo clutch that she is carrying in style!
Heidi Klum in Alexandre Vauthier: Klum has been sporting side slit gowns quite often, but she did manage to surprise everyone with her Alexandre Vauthier gown this time at Golden Globes. The one-shoulder dress looked dazzling on her, and she completed the look with dangler style earrings and bracelet. An absolute winner at the red carpet!
Emily Blunt in Michael Kors: The Devil Wears Prada star came draped in Michael Kors gown that was designed with stunning midriff cuts. We loved the Vince Camuto shoes she used with the golden dress along with selected Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She carried a Ferragamo clutch to complete her look. The up hairdo was simply classy and vintage.
Katharine McPhee in Theyskens’ Theory: Katharine McPhee was looking a complete stunner as she entered the red carpet wearing a Theyskens’ Theory dress. The deep V-neck dress did wonders to her curvy body, and she completed the look with a messy hair bun and Oroton ‘Society’ clutch.
Julianne Hough in Monique Lhuillier: This stunning Monique Lhuillier gown seemed to look at more fun and dramatic on Julianne Hough, who chose to complete the look with Daniella Villegas jewellery. We adore the Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and the Jerome Rousseau shoes she sported. Certainly one of the best red carpet looks of Golden Globes!
Among the other celebs, we would like to add that Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams and Michelle Dockery also made headlines with their stunning gowns and looks. As we end our best picks, we would like to know your feedback what attracted your vision at the award function. After all, Golden Globe is meant for who’s who of the starry world, and our celebs and their fashion choices make it worth watching!
