Best Spring 2017 Trends for Every Girl – Part 1
Finally, the wait is over! The spring 2017 collections have arrived, and it is time to unveil some of the most surprising trends of next year. Let’s start by saying that spring always is an exciting month for fashion. From the fresh palette of colours to stunning prints and new styles and cuts, there is always a lot to look forward to. If you are someone who looks ahead to new ideas for every reason, well, you have a reason to check some of these trends. Take a check and start making your shopping list now.
Love the vacations: The first trend of the season that we should definitely talk about is the coming of spring floral prints. After a season of ginghams and another season that talked of stripes in 2015 and 2016 respectively, we are back to the stage where we can finally talk of prints. Amazingly soft prints that were inspired from vacations was a complete trend in itself. What’s more interesting is the way these designs have been interpreted on the runways. Every show had its highlights and despite sharing the same kind of motive, these were utterly different. Honestly, you don’t need to wait for a vacation, and some of the designers you need to see include Michael Kors, Baja East, and Boss. We also loved what we saw at Oscar de la Renta spring 2017.
Ripping the classics: Some of the summer essentials we know have been tweaked and twisted for some great fun. These are the things that you need for a casual summer, and we loved the way designers worked with the classics, just to probably add more elements of depth. So, more new cut-outs and styles emerged and blended with the regular runway basics. Some of the best names, including Alexander Wang, Monse, Milly and Self-Portrait worked with their best loved ideas and created fusions that we all wanted. If you are an edgy girl or like things to be as cool as the runway, this is one trend you cannot afford to miss.
Love ruffles: Alright, every year, we have a list of trends that often extend from the previous year. In short, you might have seen this one back a couple of seasons, and yet, the trend just makes as much sense. One of the best trends was ruffles, which worked big time in 2016. Spring 2017 had a lot of functional ruffles, which were used for dresses, tops and much more. The whole idea is to keep ruffles in the forefront, and therefore, you will have to limit the use of accessories to some extent. Keep in mind that ruffles tend to be practical elements, and therefore, minimalism is the key. For a few ideas, you can check Zimmermann, Adam Lippes and Altuzarra.
Hope you enjoyed this post, and in the next one, we will talk of more trends, so make sure that you come back here for more. After all, we are your perfect space for fashion gossip!
