Amazing Fall 2017 Trends for Your Closet – Part 2
In our last post, we talked about the latest trends from fall 2017 collections. We promised to come back with more, and we are already ready with the next list of trends. If you love fall fashion, we assure you some great ideas from the most amazing brands and designers. It is all about staying in vogue!
Metallic but silver: A few seasons back, Lanvin worked with metallic designs and inspired fabrics for an entire spring collection. Since then, the idea has returned to the runway in many ways. For fall 2017, you will see a lot of silver-metallic looks. Ideal for parties and cocktail outings, these outfits are not meant for the faint hearted. Saint Laurent and Commes des Garcons worked with over-the-top designs, whereas Chanel, Proenza Schouler and Michael Kors kept things subtler. If you are fond of metallic looks, this is something you can try. In case the outfits look like a bit too much, you can try a handbag or a pair of shoes in the same style.
Reds and maroons: We haven’t talked of a singular colour palette for fall 2017 as yet. However, we are proud to report that red is making a comeback after a long time. Last three seasons, we have seen a lot of navy and pink shades, but this time, it is all about reds and maroons. Red was all over the ramp, and it seemed to be in sync with the season. After all, many consider red to be a classic fall colour. Some of the top names you need to check for this idea include Commes des Garcons, Prada, Proenza Schouler and Fendi. What’s interesting is the use of complete red looks, as seen at Giorgio Armani and Givenchy among others. You can try all sorts of outfits, right from pant suits to dresses, cocktail outfits and more. Our favourite was an oversized trench coat spotted at Jil Sander.
Revamped trench coats: Trench coats for the fall are same as floral for spring. Eventually, we end up finding coats in fall collections, and 2017 was no different. Thankfully, we don’t have boring trench coats anymore. It is all about using different elements and shapes. Some designers worked with additional embellishments, where others went a bit overboard on the size. In short, these are experimental coats meant for the lady who loves to take chances. Amazing ideas can be checked at the collection of Balenciaga, Junya Watanabe, Maison Margiela and Valentino. We insist that you check online to find similar coats in budget. The whole concept is to ditch the traditional appearance, and for that, you will find various options on online stores. Add a pair of high heels and a nice handbag – You are good to go.
We hope you enjoyed this post as much as we had fun writing it. In our next, we will talk of more fall fashion, especially the trending ideas and concepts that made a big impression in major fall fashion weeks of 2017.
